Salads, Keilbasa

Begin the Begin

It didnt take me too long to find a taste that Brett and I both loved. We like fresh, modern, simple but flavorfull. And Fresh. We both love us some salads. After cooking for us for a while, I found some Keilbasa at the market, and decided to give it a go. I hadnt had keilbasa in a while, but I loved it, and since we didnt have any chicken in the house I decided to use the keilbasa over a salad. The outcome was so delicious I had to take a picture, and thats when it started! I decided from then on I needed to master the presentation of my food, the taste was good so lets make it look pretty too!

When I make a salad, unless its going to be a specific salad, I like to use pretty much everything in the fridge. I call them 'Fridge Salads'- any veggies, fruit, meat, cheese, herb or spice that goes with lettuce all goes into a huge bowl and we eat like kings.

So This is a Fridge Salad with Keilbasa.
When ever I cook, and it doesnt matter what, I estimate amounts. For salads, if I like one thing a lot, I'll use more of it. If I maybe dont love something so much I wont use a lot of it. So here is what I put in this salad...use what you want!
radishes, red cabbage, fresh basil, green pepper, red pepper, green apple, walnuts, carrots. feta cheese, mesclune greens, montery jack cheese, cucumber, red onion, white onion, chives, parsley, salt, black pepper, red pepper.
I blackened the keilbasa on the stove top, then tossed it with honey mustard and some brown sugar!
It was really amazing....
So here it is! My first recipe post. The rest of the posts with follow the same format, I'll be calling each one by the recipe name!
