My First Stir-fry!!

My first Stir-fry!!!

Oooooh Maaaan was this good. I think I should make one tomorrow lol....

So this was me getting bored of my usual food types, so I wanted to do something Asian-y and here we are.

Again, use more or less of whatever you like...I like peppers, so I use a lot. Make sure to prep all your veggies etc. first, so theyre ready to grab when you need them.

If you dont have a Wok, use a large pan. Cook your rice first and keep it warm...

Heat up some sesame or olive oil in your wok or pan. Put in your aromatics like ginger garlic first. Once you can smell them, you can put in your firmer veggies like carrots etc. The softer veggies like cabbage go in last so nothing gets overcooked. Cook meat first of course.

Once your ginger and garlic is going, add red yellow orange and jalapeno peppers, and white onion. add peas or whatever else you like. For this one I used keilbasa that I pre cooked.

Asian Stir Fry Sauce

2 Tbs Cornstarch

3 Tbs brown sugar

1/8 tsp cayanne pepper

1/2 C soy sauce

1 Tbs rice vinegar

2 Tbs ginger

2 Tsp garlic
Combine all ingredients in bowl. Creat a well in your stir-fry pan, pour sauce directly into well in center of pan and hear it sizzle. Stir like crazy and combine all, take off heat and serve over rice!!

There will be lots more stir frys to come...
